Last October, I received a message from Juliet in my inbox. We had already exchanged some contacts, and she was aware of the work I was doing. Juliet was about to embark on a new path and further develop her holistic massage and retreats.
The vision and spirit of "Land of Adaya" were strongly present, and I was asked to help her with the form and color.
Based on the visual identity, we created the building blocks for the website and every essential element around it.
Juliet expressed a desire to translate ancient wisdom into a powerful and holistic design. Symbolism was central to the creation of the logo, and the earthy colours transformed into an oasis of tranquility.
The process was steady, but fruitful. We took our time optimizing, and the collaboration was therefore aligned.
Just like Mother Nature, LOA had its seasons, and before we knew it, it was finally time for her first blossom in Spring.

In de zomer van 2022 is Dave begonnen met het organiseren van kruiden wildpluk wandelingen in Den Haag, Westduinpark, waar hij de basis van wildplukken en kruidengeneeskunde deelt aan liefhebbers van over de hele wereld.
Om door de mooiste wandel routes te reizen, om van elkaar te leren en de verbinding met de aarde te voelen.
Dat is wat Dave inspireert om deze wildpluk wandelingen te (blijven) doen.
HILLOW had het genoegen Dave
te vergezellen en de magische momenten van de Medicine Walk vast te leggen.
Dit vond ik zon bijzonder fijne samenwerking en echt een heel intrigrerend project om aan te werken.
Ik heb mijn best gedaan om de onderzoekende dynamiek van de groep, de verwondering, Dave in
zijn natuurlijk habitat als verteller
en guide en de kleine details te fotograferen.

In the Summer of 2022, Dave started with hosting herb foraging walks around The Hague Westduinpark, where he shares his knowledge of foraging and herbal medicine to lovers from all over the world. To wander the most beautiful walking routes, to learn from each other and to feel the connection with mother earth.
This is what inspires Dave to keep sharing these foraging walks.
HILLOW had the pleasure to accompany Dave and capture the magical moments of the Medicine Walk.
I found this collaboration very pleasurable and I was intrigued by the way Dave guided us on the walk
I tried to capture the world of wonders and the dynamic of the group, Dave in his natural habitat as a storyteller and guide alongside the little details.
